Digital Commonplace Software

Digital Commonplace Software is a new kind of software that has been developed to give people the ability to store ideas, notes, and research on a wide range of topics.

Contrary to popular belief, ordinary digital software is not software for taking notes. Laptops have nothing to do with the functions required for a correct numeric language. Therefore, I thought it useful to write this to describe the differences and, above all, what to look for in a good common digital service.

To begin, I will describe the art of everyday life and what it really means to maintain a "common place" ...

common position

The Common Placement was developed in the late Middle Ages to store a large number of ideas, notes and research material about the new mass-produced product, which became cheaper and cheaper. Remember, not so long ago people wrote about the skins of hungry animals. The introduction of cheap paper was a huge development.

However that may be, the commonplace began to gain in importance with the development of the common book. It was a cross between a diary and a notebook that allows the author to manage a large amount of knowledge and information in a relatively small medium.

While a vulgar book came into vogue at many European universities in the late fifteenth century, it is mainly known for the large number of "heavenly spirits" who used this technique to perfect their work, their ideas and, ultimately, modernity.

Without people like Isaac Newton, Leonardo Da Vinci, and Michelangelo, we would not be interested in what we do today. You see, the common place, as these giants are showing, is a mental state suitable for the written form, not the other way round.

The only reason many people kept banal "books" was that other ways of storing information were not available. Obviously, that has changed and we have access to a truly remarkable medium on the PC and on the internet. This is the starting point of Digital Commonplace software.

Digital everyday life

The Digital Commonplace software essentially consists of a combination of notes applications and software for creating digital systems.

The big problem is that many people simply use Evernote or Onenote to create a digital truism. While these tools are effective for taking notes, they are not very good at synthesizing, which is necessary to make a common place a generous ideal.

In the end, when you're looking for common digital software, you'll need to identify some basic elements of functionality ...

First, you need an instrument that is organic and natural enough to encourage people to express their best ideas. This goes beyond taking notes: it has the form of images and a number of other potential traits.

Second, you need to be able to synthesize your entries. The main problem of many applications making "notes" is that they can not determine which notes belong to which site, making it difficult to identify which parts of the system can be accessed on demand.

Third, you need additional features that only a reliable collaborative placement tool can provide. There has never been a common place in the digital world, so you need to understand that you need to have lots of original ideas to find the right combination of functionality and style.
